TWIS are Turkish women living in Austria. They were either born in Turkey or in Austria.
I ask myself whether the women I see feel at home in both cultures.
In the Western , Austrian “world” they are exposed to.
Or the Turkish, oriental world they live in.
And I wonder if TWIS live in a constant dispute? And  I wonder  if they are torn between these two worlds?
Why do some cover themselves whereas others are very liberal?
Why are some very present and attract attention  and others are inconspicuous and invisibile?
Why do some just hang around  and others can only be seen at home?
Why do some pray five times a day while others never go  to the mosque? Why can only a few decide  for  themselves  while others cannot?
